Coming to Vilnius
By plane
Vilnius has an international airport located at Rodūnios kl. 10A , situated a short distance from the city centre. Outside the airport, you can easily order a taxi or use a public bus as your means of transport. If you are staying at any of the hotels recommended below, you may take bus No. 3G from the airport. This route passes through the city centre, and upon reaching your designated stop, you can either continue your journey on foot or transfer to another bus to reach your final destination.
By train or bus
If you are arriving in Vilnius by bus or train, please note that the bus and train stations are located close to each other. Upon exiting either station, you will find numerous buses that travel to the city centre and other destinations. These buses can be used to reach your destination, or you may choose to walk and enjoy the views of Vilnius. For this travel option, we recommend using the applications listed below.
Getting around in Vilnius
Buses
If you wish to use public buses for travelling around Vilnius, we recommend downloading the Trafi application. Through this app, you can purchase tickets, view bus schedules, plan your routes, and track buses in real time. Additionally, tickets can also be purchased directly on the bus — simply tap your bank card or mobile phone on the ticket validator, and the ticket will appear in your Trafi app. Please note that the Trafi application requires a minimum top-up amount of 5 euros. For this reason, we also recommend downloading the m.Ticket application, which allows you to purchase tickets for any amount.
Please be aware that various types of tickets are available. We recommend selecting either a 30-minute or a 1-hour ticket; however, other options are also available if needed.

Taxi
For your travels around Vilnius, you can download and use the Bolt or Uber mobile applications. Most drivers speak English, and the apps are available in English as well. It is also easy to enter your desired destination in the apps.
